  Bought my wife here for her 50th ... I have made some average destination decisions in the past but not in this case... just superb. Boys said to me after swimming in the lagoon it was best day of their life ... only 8 yo. Staff are fantastic, food sensational and our room was excellent. Lagoon and ocean view and no western sun ... does not come any better. Hats off to the Marriott ... you have created our new destination .... on our doorstep!

  You can always guarantee a five star experience at the Marriott Surfers Paradise one of the better hotels on the Gold Coast. The rooms are always first class with a daily service, friendly staff, brand new linen and towels. The facilities a world-class one of the most beautiful pools on the Gold Coast and surrounding Gardens well maintained luscious and green and inviting. As well the food is always great even if it's just room service or to eat in the restaurant on the ground floor. You have a tram stop right out the front of the hotel and the concierge are always eager to help you with any of your needs. If you're after the five star experience you can't go past the Marriott on the Gold Coast.

  On checking out they had staff asking for feedback about our stay, the only reason we didn't give 5 stars was the elevator to parking was out & my wife thought the mattress was too firm.

  Such a beautiful hotel all round. The buffet is the best on the coast but i particularly like the Chapter & Verse bar. Its pretty outside on the deck at night and they have fantastic cocktails and share plates. I find the share plates surprisingly good value and good portion sizes too

  Probably the best pool/lagoon area I've ever experienced! Marriott has been here a long time but it appears they've updated it recently. Typical Marriott in that you've everything you need in the hotel should you not want to brave Surfers Paradise (great restaurants, spa, lagoon with waterfall & slides!)

  Very, very good. The dinner buffet had a wide variety of food with seafood and salad. And (since it was oktoberfest) there was a bunch of German food. The rooms were very big and the balcony provided a great view. The pool had a waterfall, spa and even fish which were able to be fed. The TV had all the good channels and a bunch of movies (but you have to buy them). All the staff were kind and helpful. Even got some chocolate and some hot chocolate. It's worth it guys
