  Staff are friendly and very efficient and helpful, I hire cars here every 3 months, always have great service, the cars are always in perfect condition

  My plans for this week have been completely hijacked due to the Debit Card policy. Yes, its not the fault of the individual car rental service I organised the hire through but I'm a returning customer and it's ludicrous that you refer to yourself as 'Budget Car and Truck Rental' when you then proceed to hold $400 because you've had issues with stolen cars. I don't see how that could be the case when I have had to provide my licence as identification on each occasion. If this is common practice and you're still having cars stolen, then your screening process is the problem.

  I rented a standard car with insurance at $108 per day. The staff were very nice BUT the car vibrated and made the entire drive painful and I could not wait till it was over. They offered no compensation and said thanks for the feedback. Then I found out that I have to pay an extra $3.50 'service' fee for the tolls over the Gateway Bridge on top of the tolls. When I called head office to find out why they said call the toll company and when I complained about the fee to Budget they said well you should have read the terms and conditions. When I was signing the original paperwork prior to the rental I WAS NOT ASKED to read any terms and conditions and was ONLY asked to sign here and here, when I complained about that they hung up the phone on me.

  After 30 years of renting with Budget I will no longer rent with them as the head office staff were rude, condescending and arrogant plus the car was below par. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!!!!!!

  Awesome car rental hire experience right from onset to car hire return. Rockstar employee by the name of Graham is an absolute gentleman in every aspect. Very friendly and highly professional. Graham is an enormous asset to the Budget organisation.
